Black and White

I'm pretty sure I mentioned how artistic I consider Black and White photography, and here I found one that I like a LOT. I found it on Deviantart, and the author goes by the nick Dragonetty. An impressive work with the lights and shadows, and a great example on how much B&W adds to photography as a technique.

The Spice of Life

Humor is the spice of life, and this picture made me laugh :) This is the most courageous cat ever, or maybe the most stupid! My bet is on the eagle!

Another from Al Mierau

I still can't describe exactly what it is that I like so much about Al Mierau's work, but isn't that what art is all about? Being able to feel things about something and don't need to rationalize it! I think this picture is amazing, the lighting, the angle, the small details, the warmth and yet cold feeling... This guy is so great.

Careful where you step!

I found this great picture from Wilson Tsoi, it's called "Camouflaged". The reason I chose it is because I imagined myself on some wild place, exploring with my camera new techniques of nature photography, and all of the sudden, find this! Can you imagine that? I probably drop my camera, scared of that yellow mean looking eyes and get the hell out of there, screaming like a maniac, obviously :P Thumbs up for Wilson Tsoi's courage!

I found this photograph and I wanted to share it, besides the obvious cuteness of the baby, it reminded me about holding on...
Yes, holding on to love, holding on to family, to friends, people you care about. Holding hands is one of the biggest ways to show love and caring for someone, and a silent way of saying how you feel.

Sunsets

This picture is a great example of why I love sunsets. It is so true what people say about no sunset being the same as another... The magnificent range of colors that you may witness are incredible, not to mention the amazing sets of shadows and lights that go random, influenced by the clouds or the landscape... Watching one of this sunsets definitely makes you feel alive!

Sadness

It will never stop to amaze me how the photographers can make you feel or think what they wanted to express trhough their pictures... this one just made me feel so lonely and sad... what do you think?

The title where I found it was, THE BEAUTY OF SADNESS, pretty accurate.
